Discover how the INDEPENDENT project uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate the integration of energy systems and resources for energy flexibility management in buildings.

In this video, Sohvi Virkkula, Research Scientist at VTT, explains how LLMs can automatically generate semantic adapters that enable different systems and resources to communicate and work together, making their integration more efficient.

The presentation was part of the seminar “Synergies for a resilient and flexible energy system”, organised by the Energy Nexus Cluster on 8 June 2026 in conjunction with the European Sustainable Energy Week 2026.
